SWEP RESCUES
HOPE

|
If you have a look in the photo album you will see a number of photo's of Hope and her son Zennor (charging round the paddock with a dun coloured filly). With Zennor is off her hands (so to speak) we started looking for a good home for Hope.
She has been deeply traumatised by her experiences at the hands of people who, having found themselves unable to cope with wild ponies, sent her from market to market, until SWEP came to her rescue. She is an older mare, and her mistrust of mankind has been well founded. It is amazing that she has been able to overcome her fears enough to be halter trained and it is probably too much to expect anything more of her. However, she can be caught up and groomed and she will make an excellent companion pony. December 2004 Unfortunately we were let down by the people who had offered a home when they realised that Hope was not as small as they wanted. So, we are again looking for someone who can give her the kind of home she needs and deserves. |
