Things move at such a fast pace at SWEP it seems that we will never be able to get on top of our admin. Although everybody grumbles about the amount of paperwork there is to be done, it is frustrating not to be able to follow up on offers a loan homes or requests for membership as quickly as we would like to.

In addition to our rescue and rehoming work we are activiely campaigning on a number of welfare issues at local and national levels. We are in consultation with DEFRA, local authorities and police forces, M.P.s and other welfare associations to help to bring about changes in regulations and legislation to protect equines in general. and moorland ponies in particular.
