Strawberry (Alpines Mum)Alpine (Strawberrys Son)Strawberry (on the left) and her son Alpine (on the right) were rescued from Tavistock market in 2004 when Alpine was only weeks old.  A cameraman for  local television asked  me (Maureen Rolls SWEP) to bid for them to stop them both going to dealers. The cameraman has signed them both over to SWEP.  After being broken they have both been rehomed on our loan scheme.

Solomon and little friend FlickerSolomonSolomon a colt foal, from Bodmin Moor, was very weak and emaciated when he came into our (SWEP) care.  In the opinion of our vet he was days away from death.

Once Solomon was fit and healthy he was rehomed on our loan scheme.

Flicker (without Solomon)

Flicker, a Dartmoor colt foal, was sold at Tavistock Pony Sales in 2004 to someone who took him to Cornwall.  This was on a Friday, on the Saturday and Sunday he was wandering loose on the highway.  SWEP was asked to take him in for his own safety. No one has ever claimed him and once he was halter broken he was rehomed on our loan scheme.
