At all SWEP shows, Points will be awarded to riders placed in all Classes (i.e. 1 st place = 6 points, 2nd place = 5 points etc.)   At the end of the season the Points will be added up and the horse/pony rider/handler combination with the most Points gained in each Class will win an Award and a Champion Rosette. Rosettes will be awarded to 4 th place in each Class. The Supreme Champion Trophy and Rosette will be awarded to the member gaining the most Points with ONE horse/pony in Classes 1 - 48.

Please note: It is important for those who have qualified for an award to attend the Members' Points Awards Presentation Evening in person. No one else can represent or take the award for you. If a prize winner isn't present on that evening the Award will be given to the next highest placed person in that Class. ( So , you may end up with an award after all!)

All fully paid up members of SWEP receive an annual Membership Card. At each Show, in each Class an Award will be given to the highest placed member eligible, providing:

1.       The member has paid their membership for the current year.

2.       The member has not previously won a Members' Award in that Class during the current year.

3.       The member produces their own Membership Card upon request in the ring.

4.      Membership Cards should be carried by members at all times whilst in the ring. Anyone who fails to produce their Membership Card on request will not receive an award for that Class and it will be given to the next highest placed member eligible.

Conditions for   the MEMBERS' AWARD SCHEME

It is the Rider (Leader in the In-Hand Classes) that has to be a member of SWEP in order to qualify for the Points Award Scheme - but an Owner may join if so desired. No points will be awarded until the current years membership fees have been paid. Any points gained before payment will not count.
